We require that the child’s immunizations be up-to-date according to current practice.
A doctor’s record of immunizations is required to be submitted at the beginning of the
school year. You may use the form on our site (under the Registration tab) or you may supply
a doctor’s printed copy.
Please refer to the Policies and Procedures page you are given at Orientation Night for policies on returning to school following illnesses during the school year.
Children need to wear play clothes which include non-skid shoes. School is not a place for fancy clothes, except on program days (Christmas and Easter). Children should be comfortable and able to easily engage in physical activity. Crocs, flip flops, boots, heeled dress shoes, etc. make it difficult to execute large motor skill activities. Also, when dressing your child, please keep in mind that while we do our best to minimize clothing stains, this is sometimes unavoidable when children are working with paint, markers, glues, etc. Learning can be messy! Children should be dressed according to outdoor weather in case our curriculum for the day requires us to go outside. Also note that the 4 year old classes will participate in Gym Days on most Wednesdays and it is especially important to dress for these activities.
