The Fall Spiritual Retreat is Saturday, November 8th from 9:00 a.m. — 3:00 p.m. with Rachel Fagan as the facilitator.
The presentation "Melt Me, Mold Me, Fill Me, Use Me" is a spiritually reflective journey centered around the metaphor of the potter and the clay, drawing from key anchor scriptures Isaiah 64:8 and Jeremiah 18:6B. The first session, Melt Me, Mold Me, explores how believers are shaped by God much like clay in a potter’s hands. Through the symbolism of pottery and stories like the Teacup Story, participants are invited to consider the process of becoming vessels for God’s use. The life of the Apostle Paul is introduced as a powerful example of transformation, emphasizing that God’s strength is made perfect in weakness, as seen in 2 Corinthians 12:9-10.
In the second session, Fill Me, the focus shifts to the heart’s readiness to receive from God. Through interactive activities like the “Fill the Jar” exercise and teachings from Enemies of the Heart by Andy Stanley, participants confront inner struggles—guilt, anger, greed, and jealousy—that hinder spiritual fullness. Ephesians 3:16-21 guides reflection on being filled with the fullness of God.
The final session, Use Me, encourages believers to live out their purpose, drawing inspiration from the poem Drinking from My Saucer and Ephesians 2:8-10. Participants explore the idea that all kinds of vessels have value in God’s house.
Enhancing the presentation are seven scripture-based prayer stations that offer experiential practices to help attendees engage personally with God’s transformative work in their lives.
Registration will begin in October. The cost is $25. A light breakfast and lunch will be provided.
