A celebration of life for David Bruce Smith, who passed away on Thursday, May 14th, will be Saturday, May 30, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Calvin Presbyterian Church. There will be details to follow so please watch this post, follow us on social media, or sign up for our mailing list.

We are asking all of the congregation to wear red on Pentecost Sunday, May 24th, to celebrate the arrival of the Holy Spirit as a bringer of new life.

Jake Pieszak, Calvin member, is the 2026 Young Composer Contest Winner of the Pittsburgh Philharmonic. Jake, now in his freshman year as an engineering major at the University of Cincinnati, has played his violin for solos in our services several times in recent years. His winning composition, "The Village and the Hero's Last Stand” will be performed by the Pittsburgh Philharmonic at the Greater Pittsburgh Masonic Center. Jake will be in attendance.
