Adult Education

Continuing May 3rd, May 10th and May 17th, Rev. Stephen Cramer will lead the Adult Ed class on an exploration of Jesus’ response to the demand for a sign from heaven. The event appears in all four Gospels, but in Matthew and Luke, Jesus says that no sign will be given, except the sign of Jonah. This sign has perplexed readers for two thousand years, because Matthew and Luke don’t agree about what the sign could be and Jonah is the most peculiar prophet in the Old Testament. So come travel with Rev. Cramer in the belly of the whale through four Sundays until we are spewed out on the dry land of May 17th.
