Pastor Nominating Committee
The PNC began meeting in January to develop Calvin’s Ministry Information Form. That form allows prospective pastors to learn about Calvin and what we are seeking from a new minister. The PNC completed that document, which was approved in the February meeting of Calvin’s Session, and then by the Beaver/Butler Presbytery’s Ministerial Vocational Committee. That document has been loaded into the Presbyterian Church’s Church Leadership Connection website and is available to view.
The PNC has moved into the next phase of its work, viewing Pastor Information Forms that have been identified as good matches for us. The committee reads these forms, researches the prospects and will begin to narrow the search down to a few. Those few will receive requests for initial interviews either in person, or via phone/Skype depending on their location.
Please keep the committee in your prayers through this process.
Calvin’s MIF can be downloaded here and is available in hard copy in the narthex.
