Calvin offers many ways to work on spiritual growth in both group and individual settings. Check the Calendar for dates and times. Labyrinth The Labyrinth (shown above) is located in the church yard to the right of the building. Walking the Labyrinth is an ancient Christian practice that helps us pray, meditate, reflect, and rediscover God. It is symbolic of our spiritual journey toward God. You will find that as you include it into your prayer life, God will touch you in interesting and inspiring ways. There are many ways to use the Labyrinth for prayer, including walking prayer, Hesychastic prayer, contemplative prayer, and meditation. A helpful written explanation of these is available for you in a mailbox at the entrance to the Labyrinth. Small Groups
Devotional Studies - Many Christians yearn for a renewed life, a life that's deeper, richer, more balanced, filled with meaning and with love. To that end, a small group concentrating on the great devotional classics is meeting Thursday morning at 10 a.m. except the first Thursday of the month, in the Faith House. The group is currently studying The Purpose Driven Life, by Rick Warren. Call Diane McClusky (724.752.9089) for more information. Prayer GroupsPrayer group meets Wednesday at 9:00 am to pray for our church and its staff and session, our youth, our community, our families and friends, our Presbytery, the sick and distressed, and those celebrating every joy and challenge.Faith GroupThe Faith Group is a wonderful way to discover the possibility of living a deeper life than you know is possible.
