Prayer and Healing

E-mail your prayer requests.

Are You in Need of Prayer? Every Sunday, after each worship service, prayer ministers are available to offer prayers of healing or blessing for you or for another through you. You will spot prayer ministers after each service wearing white stoles. One will be in the front of the sanctuary, another in the back by the prayer room. Please feel free to approach one for any concerns that you have.

Healing Prayer Ministry Are you, or someone you know, struggling with an illness or other difficulty and would like healing prayer? Calvin Presbyterian Church has a healing prayer ministry of members who will visit and pray for healing with you once a week. Their focus is to bring God's Spirit into your life to help you heal physically, mentally, and spiritually. If you would like more information or would like a visit from our prayer ministry, please contact Dr. Standish.

Prayer Room Do you need a sacred place to pray in? The vestibule under the bell tower is open every day as a prayer room for your use during the week. You are invited to use our prayer room for prayer whenever the church is open.

Calvin Church Labyrinth We invite you to use our labyrinth for prayer. You can find the Labyrinth next to the church on the lot on the corner of Grandview Avenue and Division Street. If you would like more information, you can find guides for it in the box next to the labyrinth.

Prayer Shawl committee meets the second Sunday of the month at Faith House at 3:00 p.m. The mission of this group is to learn to knit and crochet and create shawls to wrap those in need with God's love.
